Female Friends,Yurts and Banter.

Ok, so I'm not going to lie. The last time I went on a weekend break with a bunch of ladies, was a long time ago. I felt like the odd one out, very weird and not at all comfortable!

This weekend could not have been more different. I think we often underestimate the power of being in a group of likeminded people. Especially other women.

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say its not always been easy for me to connect with other women. It's not that I'm socially awkward or lack confidence to talk to people, it's more that right from school I've always been the odd one out and never felt at ease within groups of women.

Now I'm no therapist so I'm not going to begin to figure out why that is....but I do know that the more you do nothing of something, the less you do it haha! And when you don't actually put yourself out there and make the effort you can be sure 100%, that nothing will happen!

The weird part is that I would never in a million years met these women if it wasn't for my sideline business, as we are all Ambassadors for the same Brand.

If only people actually could see for real what we do and the fun we have, the way we support and are there for each other, I think it would change a lot of minds about what Network Marketing is and how important team culture is!

We weren't away this weekend to talk about work specifically, although it cropped up now and again. For me there was no agenda other than to relax, get to know everyone a little better and blow off some steam.

Ask yourself, when was the last time you went away with some of the people you work with? Voluntarily? The amazing thing is with what we do is we actually get to choose the people we work with. So the vibe we create usually attracts our kind of people.

The kind of women ( or men ) who enjoy a walk in the countryside. A campfire. A bit of glamping. Not scared of some mud or a bit of rain. Fresh air, perhaps a little drinkie or two ( just to warm up of course!) But also like to feel good and take care of ourselves.

If that sounds like your thing too, I hope you find your tribe. Maybe you already have? If not, you are very welcome to join ours.
